I'm not sure how many of you follow the comic book community however Josh Medors has been fighting an uphill battle with Spinal Cancer for over a year now. At this point, conventional medicine has all but given up on him however, he has found an alternative (read: not Western) treatment that could prolong and better the quality of his life so that he can spend it with his wife and child.

I am writing about this because Josh has always been a welcome face at conventions. Very talented and fun to hang out with. I may not have seen him outside of cons but I always loved every minute I spent with him.

This is a call to action. There is a charity auction being put together to help Josh pay for this treatment.

So it looks like I will be going back to school this January which means that I will more than likely eventually have some things to update my DA account with. Whether it's just doodling on some notes or some actually full blown artwork and designs is yet to be determined. I am starting off with my Gen Ed requirements so it will more than likely be doodles and perhaps some photography as well. I fully intend to carry my camera with me wherever I can go. I am also hoping on doing some collages with screenshots from Animal Crossing: City Folk as I go along.I'll probably do some sketches of my character. She's currently dressed as Samus Aran from the Metroid series of video games and will more than likely stay that way for a while.

So I haven't really updated this thing and I'm working on some more art. I've also been thinking of doing some photography. I'll get back on that once I can take the time to toy around with my camera a bit more. Let me know what you want to see more of!
